Epic Forces

Epic Forces is a role-playing game based, in spite of what you might think judging from the images, on Pokemon. Why? Well, even though you can go on dozens of adventures and face hundred of enemies, your real aim is to 'capture' the heroes of the game and help them evolve.

In total, between the normal heroes, wild beasts, and evolutions, there are more than 300 different characters. All of them can participate in your battles, and they all have their own attacks and combat styles. The wild wolves, for example, are especially powerful in first and third line, while the druid works better in second line.

To capture a new character, you first need to defeat it in combat. To do so you'll have to embark on adventures, the development of which is quite linear, such that you just have to make decisions along the way. It's important, though, to take good care of your heroes between battles.

Although the bulk of Epic Forces lies in its campaign mode, where you can complete several different adventures, you can also fight other players in intense PvP duels. You still won't be able to intervene during battles, though, so everything will depend on how powerful your heroes are.

Epic Forces is quite a fun role-playing game with very good graphics and lots of characters, as well as a various scenarios and campaigns to play.
